Looking for a Forever Friend? Welcoming a new pet into your family is a big step! At the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, we strongly believe that there is a right pet out there for everyone and taking the time to get to know you and your needs helps us place the best possible pet with your family. Our friendly and knowledgeable Customer Care Advisors are there to help guide you through the adoption process so that you are happy with your adoption decision. If, for any reason, you are unhappy or uncomfortable with your adoption, please contact us immediately so that we can work with you to remedy the situation. To adopt an animal, you must be at least 18 years of age. Some animals may have specific adoption requirements so be sure to check with a Customer Care Advisor for details. We reserve the right to verify addresses, request landlord verification or perform property inspections before adopting out an animal. Animal Adoption hours are Weekdays from 12:00pm to 5:30pm and 12:00pm to 4:30pm on the weekends.
All adoptions include: Spay or neuter surgery Microchip ID system and national registration Flea treatment (cats only) Vaccinations Free veterinary exam with a local participating Veterinarian Animal training information Low cost pet insurance options And more!

CATS
Senior (7 years and older)	$25.00
Adult (6 months to 6 years)	$50.00
Kitten (6 months and under)	$80.00

DOGS
Senior (7 years and older)	$50.00
Adult (6 months to 6 years)	$100.00
Puppy (6 months and under)	$150.00


The Purina Pets for Seniors Program provides limited funding for discounted pet adoptions for seniors (ages 60 years or older). If you are a senior interested in adopting a new forever friend, talk to an Adoption Counselor about receiving a $50 discount on your adoption fee.
Discounts are available in limited quantities and are made available on a first-come-first-served basis. The Purina Pets for Seniors program is limited and discounts are not guaranteed.
