Thank you for your interest in bringing the Humane Society for Southwest Washington to your classroom! We look forward to providing an enriching and rewarding education experience for you and your students.
Please fill out the fields below completely and accurately and a member of our Humane Education and Outreach team will be in contact with you to arrange your presentation.
Our Humane Education Presentations and Programs are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. Many programs are conducted by Humane Society Volunteers and scheduling availability may vary seasonally and is not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate your schedules so that you may experience a rewarding Humane Education program.
Requests without at least two-weeks notice will not be considered.

Most classroom programs are offered free of charge but donations are greatly appreciated. You may contact us at education@southwesthumane.org for a list of much needed items.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington utilizes temperament tested and approved animals for presentation purposes and Classroom Presentation participants are likely to come into contact with a variety of live animals including, but not limited to: cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, small mammals, birds and reptiles. Participants will be exposed to the usual sights, smells and sounds thereof and individuals with allergies to any or all of the above should not take part in this presentation.
The participating agency, and all Classroom Presentation participants including staff and volunteers, are taking part in this program voluntarily and of their own free will and understand there are possible risks involved. ALL Classroom Presentation participants and the participating agency agree to hold harmless the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (HSSW), its staff/volunteers/owners/agents in the event of any illness, injury or damage to facility that may occur during HSSW Classroom Presentation programs.
While highly unanticipated, our Humane Education and Outreach team members have the discretion to end a presentation at any time should the safety of our animals be at risk, or if any member(s) of the participating agency engage in excessively disruptive or otherwise offensive or inappropriate behavior.
