The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is a nonprofit organization, established in 1897 by people dedicated to animal welfare.  This tradition is carried on today by our devoted staff, compassionate volunteers, and generous donors. 

We are proud to be the only full service shelter in our community accepting every animal brought to us.  Over the past five years we have sheltered more than 60,000 homeless and abused animals.  

By working in collaboration with local veterinarians, animal rescue groups, businesses and our community members, your Humane Society is dedicated to finding a loving home for all the animals we serve.
