Because we advocate for the humane treatment of animals, we understand it's important to recognize when a pet’s health is beyond rehabilitation. Our staff is here to provide compassion and support when making this difficult decision.
Make an Appointment
Appointments are required and availability is limited. Due to space constraints at our Vancouver Campus, owners may not be present during the procedure. Appointments can be scheduled up to 14 days in advance. If you don’t see any available times, please check back later.
If you prefer to be present during the procedure, please email our Community Medicine team at [email protected] to make an appointment at our Community Veterinary Clinic (Vancouver only).
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please contact an emergency or urgent care clinic.
Euthanasia Fees
Euthanasia fees vary based on the type and size of animal. HSSW also offers cremation options. To learn more, please review our End of Life Services information sheet. Fees will be confirmed with families prior to service.
